OEM Volt Halogen Headlights are a Disapointment!

I have been very discouraged with the light output of the Volt's OEM headlights, In short they illuminate in a narrow dim pattern.  With very little lighting on either side of the highway.  The OEM Halogens don't cut it!

I ordered a 35 Watt, Xentec HID Lights Xenon Conversion Kit H1 H3 H4 H7 H8 H9 H10 H11 H13 9005 9006
They arrived quickly and I installed them.........I was very disappointed! I had ordered the 5000K light temp., which is the brightest light output.  They had a weak blue tint light & they were even worse than the OEM Halogens!
I removed them and returned them to the seller, I pay shipping to return. The seller promptly refunded my  purchase price.

I found a video on You Tube that gave an excellent means of finding a Best Quaility Highest output HID Kit.  eBay HID Conversion Kits, The Good VS The Garbage.  Live and Learn!

I took his advice, and now knowing what to look for in a "Better Quality Ballast" and purchased a 35W HID Conversion Xenon Kit H1 H4 H7 H11 H13 9003 9005 Hi-Lo Bi-Xenon AC.
I installed these, this ballast was larger and needed a bit more room, but I made it fit.
Now, this is what I wanted!  We have lights, bright and white!

Twin Falls, Id to Farr West, Ut Round Trip

today we drove to Farr West for Emma's Baptizm.
We made the trip Via Logan to pick up a stitchery.
Leaving twin Falls, we had 47 Miles anticipated electric range, I drove with the drive selector in LOW and the performance on Normal.
This looks to be the best gas mileage that I have been able to achieve so far, on such a long trip.
We drove at 65 mph with the cruise on, we did not draft any trucks for any distance either.
We added $10 of prem. fuel at Snowville Ut. on the way home @ $3.79/gl.
